Antique Austrian Hand Painted Cherubs Lidded Urn/Canister

A magnificent antique lidded urn from Victoria Carlsbad, Austria, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship from the Porzellanfabrik Victoria Schmidt & Carlsbad Bohemia pottery works. This cobalt blue porcelain piece features hand-applied ornate gold gilding, delicate scroll leaf motifs, and beautifully painted cherub reserves in various poses. The matching lid is adorned with identical design elements and a gold-gilded handle, whilst the pierced scalloped rim and ornate base complete its refined aesthetic. In excellent condition with no chips, but does have small hairline crack on the handle, Blue factory stamp dates this treasure to 1891–1918.
