Antique Pair Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware Candlestick Holders

A scarce design of a unmatched pair of stunning Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware candlestick holders with beautifully crisp 3 colour sprigging or mouldings on a tan body. The mouldings are in light teal, dark blue and white in the central band - with teal top and bottom, and white around the top. The ground has a skimmed matt brown glaze - and then it's fired to a very high temperature. Clear impressed stamp for Doulton Silicon Lambeth. Any other marks are not very obvious but no England and the Silicon stamp dates it to between 1881 -1891.
