Antique Signed Chinese Soapstone Carving

This Antique Chinese Soapstone carving measures approximately 5 inches in height and 11 inches in length. Visible in the images are some chips along the edges and a chip on one side decoration. But for the age its in good condition, The base features a signature and carved Chinese characters on one of the pots though the signature is difficult to decipher. This piece serves beautifully as an elegant desktop stationery holder or a sturdy brush pot with historical character.
