Vintage RAF Mk. VIII split-lens aviator goggles, circa mid-1940s to early 1950s. Authentic British service-style design with chrome-plated and brass split-bridge metal frames, adjustable central slider, and stitched leather face padding. Individual curved glass lenses provide classic wind and glare protection favoured by Royal Air Force aircrew and motorcycle riders alike. The "PAT. PEND." stamp confirms early-production status, produced by Stadium during wartime or the immediate post-war period. Purchased for wartime pilots or acquired during the post-war motorcycling boom.
